# Billing and credits

> How APIAny.AI estimates, reserves, settles, and refunds credits.

APIAny.AI uses credits as the account-level billing unit.

The runtime flow is:

1. Estimate credits before a request runs.
2. Reserve or deduct the estimated amount.
3. Run the request through APIAny.AI model execution.
4. Settle actual usage after completion.
5. Refund non-billable failures according to the model error policy.

## Pricing types

Models can be priced by:

* Request
* Image
* Video second
* Input tokens
* Output tokens
* Cached input tokens
* Minimum request floor

The public model catalog shows user-facing prices. Platform cost and settlement details are not shown to callers.
